Position Highlights

Bring your high energy and enthusiasm to our fast paced contact centre where achieving First Call Resolution is a key customer service target. The Customer Contact Representative II will provide first contact customer service for a diverse range of enquiries.

Exceptional customer service skills along with the ability to multi-task and think critically are essential. Strong analytical, listening, questioning, and organizational skills are also required. Previous contact centre experience is strongly preferred. A Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation would be an asset as would knowledge of driver services, claims, insurance and/or road safety initiatives. Please note these positions require sitting for extended periods of time and wearing a telephone headset.

Shifts will be scheduled within the hours of operation.

Current operational hours are as follows:

  • Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 6:05pm
  • Saturdays 9:00 am to 5:05 pm

Customer Contact Representative II, Perm Part-Time

Location: Downtown Victoria

Operational Hours: Candidates will work approximately 3 days a week and will work 7 hours per day. Candidates will be scheduled shifts within these hours/days

  • Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:05 pm
  • Saturdays 9:00 am to 5:05 pm

Assignment: Permanent Part Time

Salary: $22.52/hr (increase after 6 months to $23.70/hr)

Function: To provide customer service for enquiries.

Requirements: At least 6 months – 1 year call center experience .

Testing: Data Entry 5,000NKPH as well as a LOMA test (issued by Client) LOMA is an aptitude test that tests things like problem solving/critical thinking.

  • Vacation days are accumulated in a separate vacation pay bank. When candidate wants to take time off, manager will review hours accumulated and approve time off, based on collective agreement.
