Responsibilities

• Communicate professionally with customers, subcontractors and insurance companies to ensure issues are dealt with quickly and effectively.
• Vehicle safety and maintenance inspections
• Maintaining vehicles in clean serviceable condition
• Supervise residential re-construction projects
• Supervise unskilled labor crews
• Contents manipulation
• Controlled demolition
• Containment construction and maintenance
• Debris removal
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess sense of urgency, professional demeanor, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Well-grounded in the fundamentals of carpentry
• Competency utilizing tools and equipment, including hand and power tools, temporary generators, ladders, and scaffolding
• Must have knowledge of construction math Basic understanding of nominal lumber, sheathing, their sizes and typical applications
• Satisfactory completion of OSHA Construction 10 hour course
• Ability to identify microbial materials
• Proficiency in the installation of various types of building insulation
• Frequent lifting in excess of 50 lbs.
• Sustained periods of standing, walking, bending, an kneeling
• Access and mobility in tight spaces
• Eligible to operate a motor vehicle per BELFOR’s vehicle policy
• Willing to work nights and weekends when requested
• Periodic travel
