Classification Advisor

Management Band 2

Salary: $62,000 to $80,000 annually

  • This position can be located in any of the following BC Public Service Agency office locations based on operational requirements: Nanaimo, Kamloops, Vancouver, Victoria, Nelson, or Prince George.
  • An eligibility may be established for future similar temporary and/or permanent vacancies.
  • This position is excluded from union membership .

The BC Public Service Agency (BCPSA) provides leadership and services in people management. The Agency supports its clients in achieving their human resource goals and improves the overall effectiveness of the public service by providing human resource management policies and frameworks, as well as a variety of human resource services, products and programs.

The Classification Advisor delivers bargaining unit classification services as a recognized expert for the BC Public Service Agency as a key player on the Total Compensation team.

To be successful in this position, you require the ability to plan, review and evaluate complex information ensuring high levels of influence and impact with corporate stakeholders including bargaining units.
