Salary $54,414.97 – $ 62,042.70 annually

The Natural Resource Sector (NRS) is a key driver of economic activity and employment in the province. To support the growth of the economy while providing effective environmental stewardship, the NRS must transform to become an integrated manager of BC’s natural resources and to make authorization decisions that appropriately balance social, economic and environmental objectives.
The Natural Resource Permitting Project (NRPP) involves a significant investment to integrate legislation, processes, technology, data and the workforce across six Ministries and other Agencies. NRPP is a long-term, large scale initiative that will involve dozens of projects implemented in a phased approach. NRPP will deliver meaningful benefits to industry, First Nations, non-government organizations (NGOs) and the public.
As the Project Manager you will report to the Director, Transformation Portfolio Office (TPO), and be responsible for managing a medium term project or several smaller scope projects with significant internal impact to the business. You will be accountable for defining and controlling all project activities to ensure delivery within scope, schedule, budget and specified quality. To be successful in this position, you will need to have strong and effective communication, management and organization skills. In addition to your experience working with contracted and staff resources, you will bring your knowledge and experience in project management, financial management, procurement, and contract management.
