Job: Weekend Production Operator

Location: Baxter Alliston Manufacturing Facility

Type : Temporary Part-time (1 year contract approximately)

Vacancies: 2

Schedule: Saturday & Sunday 7:00am – 7:00pm

Wage: $19.00/Hour

Job Description:

The selected Bag One department is responsible for creating medication used in dialysis. This position is responsible for sanitizing, cleaning and operating the equipment used in the Select Bag One department along with filling of the plastic bags with the liquid medication and packaging them. The production operator is also responsible for performing in process and functional tests to verify acceptability and quality of the product.

Qualifications

• Completion of High School or GED Required (Proof will be requested)
• Ability to work weekend shifts (12 hour days, Saturdays & Sundays)
• Previous experience working in a fast paced environment (experience working in an assembly line setting is preferred)
• Experience in troubleshooting mechanical problems
• Demonstrated problem solving skills
• Proven ability to show initiative, a positive attitude, and an ability to work in a team setting with a focus on quality assurance and attention to detail.
• Must be available to train during the week on Day shift for an approximate 3 week period.
