Production Supervisor Position summary: Under the plant manager’s responsibility, the production supervisor; – Plans and organizes operations and packaging to be executed by the staff. – Performs and controls effectively all the day’s orders in a timely and organized fashion, while respecting quality and safety standards.

  • Maintains good communication and collaboration with the coordinators, mixing, maintenance, planning, quality control department, R&D and upper management essential to supervise production in order to provide a high quality product. Production management: – Coordinates with coordinators and operators the day’s activities according to the production/sanitation schedule. Confirms and plans staff needs – Enforces the production schedule and communicates it to the plant manager. – Attends daily production meetings to communicate requirements of production – Makes sure that the use of goods and losses are reported daily by operators, mezzanine coordinators and conveyor coordinators (lead hand) – Update and maintain production records, performance indicators / communicate with employees – Tracks and analyses workforce and daily productions costs – Records service requests in the maintenance program Superbase – Finds solution to reduce production losses – Enforces cleaning and housekeeping to make the workplace sanitary, tidy and safe.
  • Tracks monthly inventory of production supplies – Tracks employee daily attendance. – Contribute to continuous improvement and process optimization activities, waste reduction, increase productivity, safety and quality. – Ensures proper use and maintenance of production equipment, tools and accessories. – Assist in maintaining inventory of production supplies and materials, finished products, in-process ingredients, returns etc.
