You’re the helpful and attentive voice on the line. You’re the confident and knowledgeable Scotiabank Customer Service Officer ready and knowledgeable to investigate any problem, answer any question and provide relevant solutions.

As a Contact Centre Customer Service Officer, you’re the front-line expert who enjoys supporting customers and creating memorable customer experiences.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Providing front line customer service
  • Identifying opportunities to save or make our customers money

To be successful, you’ll need:

  • One year of customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or recognized equivalent
  • Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
  • A commitment to offering quality, needs-based advice and solutions
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
  • The ability to multitask in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Strong computer navigation abilities and a minimum typing speed of 25 wpm
  • To be receptive to coaching and personal development

Start Date : We are currently recruiting for a training group that will start work in early June 2017. Training: Full-time, paid training is provided for up to 8 weeks. Training is mandatory and non-negotiable.

Shifts after training : Our Centre is open 7 days a week through to 11 pm each day. Where we are an extended hours operation, shifts can include evenings and may include one weekend shift. Work Schedules are fixed without rotation. Our full-time staff work 37.5h/week.
