JOB DESCRIPTION We are currently looking to hire an Analyst/Programmer of more than 2 years of experience. Role: The Analyst/Programmer will be responsible for the implementation of system functionality into our Industry leading PayCourier™ Product Line. In more details, the programmer will: – Participate, as a leader of a project team, in the development and implementation of new software as per customers’ requirements. – Design, develop and write functional specifications, detailed design specifications, unit test plans, unit test scripts, installation instructions and any other required engineering documents or software required in BancTec software development process.

• Participate in the different development tasks to meet deadlines. – Perform integration tests for programs developed by his team member. – Troubleshoot and fix software problems found in existing software products. – Coordinate application implementations and follow-up on client problems.
• Report project status to supervisor. Successful candidates will draw on experience using .NET, C# and Oracle to assist in the low level design and implementation of modules to integrate into the BancTec component based architecture. Qualifications: The ideal candidate is proactive, versatile and self-sufficient with extensive knowledge of Microsoft Development tools. The candidate must also possess the following qualifications: – Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills – Bilingual (French & English, written & spoken) – Oriented Object programming language – Microsoft .NET – Strong SQL/PLSQL Skills – Oracle – Microsoft Platforms Windows 7/10 Server 2008/2012 – Knowledge and experience using recognized software development processes – University Degree or Equivalent Some knowledge and working experience with the following technologies and tools would also be considered an asset: – Visual Basic 6 – MS Visual C++ – C/C++ experience using relational databases (Oracle Pro C) – WIN API – Distributed application architecture/workflow/imaging – Financial application development – Java, HTML, XML, XSL and other Web development technologies – Subversion tools and configuration management principles – UML – Data modeling tools – Microsoft Visio, Project – Availability for occasional travel (2 weeks per year in average)
