Responsibilities include:

• Set-up and maintenance of customer credit files
• Monitoring, releasing and holding sales orders as appropriate.
• Processing of credit applications, including follow-up with credit references
• D & B or Equifax reporting and analysis, understanding of financial statements
• Timely collection of past due invoices, resolving customer disputes while developing strong customer relationships
• Performing account reconciliations, posting and depositing payments
• Responding to customer account inquiries
• Emailing Accounts Receivable Report to relevant salesman
• Various month-end duties, including detailed account analysis and adjustments
• Liaising with the sales, inside sales, order management and finance personnel as required
• Other projects as assigned by Credit Supervisor

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of related experience
• Basic accounting knowledge
• Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Preference will be given to candidates with the following skills and experience:

• Experience with SAP preferable.
• Enrolled in either the Canadian Credit Institute, CCP or a recognized accounting program preferable
