We are in search of a passionate Sales Representative to promote and sell the programs of the School to potential students and ensure the application is complete and in full compliance with all regulatory requirements. Under general direction, the Sales Representative is responsible for selling programs to meet or exceed the School’s enrollment targets each month. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing company generated leads and personally developed leads by supporting, interviewing and encouraging qualified students to study at the AVEDA Institutes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identifying and understanding student needs via one to one consultations over the phone
  • Enroll new students by educating them about our programs and providing advice
  • Accountable for business growth through following up on leads and delivering information to prospective students in a timely manner
  • Meet and exceed annual, monthly, and quarterly starts, referrals, targets and objectives, as per tenure expectations
  • Responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating the recruitment and sales strategy to meet ambitious targets within agreed budget and time frames
  • Develop and implement an effective, targeted schedule of recruitment and sales activity to raise awareness and interest in undergraduate study, and increase student numbers
  • Develop effective processes to manage, monitor and convert inquiries generated from campaigns and inquiries from the website, by phone, email and in person
  • Anticipate and prepare for questions and objections from prospects by thoroughly researching and understanding the industry and articulating its concepts and benefits
  • Ensure student openings are continuously filled by successfully leading the full sales cycle
  • Consistently log and record each-and-every outreach made producing regular activity reports
  • Compile all lead contact information and manage database
  • Be cognizant of each marketing initiative, and work toward corporate objectives
  • Drive leads through the inbound sales process by organizing Education Information Sessions
  • Answer all incoming calls and complete all outbound follow up calls in a timely fashion
  • Maintains a strong understanding of AI&A offerings
  • Consistently communicates the value of the AI&A Education program
  • Represent AVEDA Institutes and Academies in a positive and professional manner
  • Identify areas of improvement in the student enrollment process and assist in creating and implementing solutions

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years sales performance history with a preference in private post-secondary education/recruitment agency
  • Experience in inside/inbound sales environment
  • Cosmetology, beauty and wellness industry experience considered an asset
  • Flexible availability (must be able to work on weekends from time to time)
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time
  • Intermediate or better abilities with MSOffice
