Our client in the government health sector is looking for a IT Project Manager on a 1 year contract.

The Project Lead will be required to:

  • Support the client in the development and execution of information management and business solutions while ensuring operational priorities align with the government’s objectives for evidence based patient care planning and management
  • Provide expertise and advice regarding business issues potentially impacting the operational plan, daily business operations and other strategic initiatives. Develop and implement recommendations to resolve issues in support of operational delivery, timelines, scope and budget
  • Perform business analysis, including use cases, process models and gap analysis, to fully understand the business requirements and evaluate the underlying business goals/drives of the client to ensure that future product development aligns with client’s needs and technology infrastructure
  • Investigate and analyze historical data for trends, provide IT operational and benchmark reports to support senior management decision-making in utilizing resources
  • Assess costs, benefits and risks to develop and deliver total solutions; write business proposals for review and approval by client
  • Lead the development of feasibility studies by ensuring the quality of business cases are developed following the client’s goals and objectives
  • Liaise with clients in the formulation of business analysis and architecture plans to ensure they are integrated and expandable to ensure future growth
  • Work with the client, LHINs and stakeholders to review and discuss issues, seek approval on new requests and to provide reports related to the operational activities and other key deliverables
  • Prepare financial and resource management plans, and communication documents, presentations, reports and briefing materials
  • Provide strategic input and recommendations to current and future initiatives and manage other operational activities and duties as required
