We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong sales drive to support the growth and development of our winery events at our various properties throughout the Okanagan Valley.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Develops & delivers sales presentations to sell programs & products into new & existing accounts to achieve financial goals.
  • Responds to incoming EVENT Inquiries – Negotiates events contracts within established guidelines.
  • Participates in industry networking events to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Provides after sales support to ensure guest/customer satisfaction.
  • Resolves customer complaints through investigations and developing solutions to retain loyalty.
  • Develops and executes sales activities that drive growth and revenue. (targeted sales calls, prospecting calls, site inspections, fam tours,
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with Estate and Culinary teams.


  • Supports Event Manager for large event execution as needed
  • Backs up Event Manager in producing BEO information and communication to wineries and clients
  • Social Media – responsibilities.

TASTING BAR (Off Season Support for Wineries where applicable)

  • Greet guests as they enter the winery with a friendly and genuine attitude.
  • Conduct wine tastings at the tasting bar.
  • Provide guests with accurate wine information and appropriate food pairings.
  • Promote sales to guests.
  • Sell wine club memberships.
  • Meet service and sales targets.
  • Stock shelves with wine and merchandise when running low.
  • Key-holder: responsible for opening and closing the winery on specified days.
  • Performing all closing duties and POS functions.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Visitor Experience Manager.

Job Requirements

  • 2 Years Experience in Events Sales and/or Coordination
  • Knowledge of and/or a proven passion for wine. Formal training (WSET, ISG, etc.) an asset.
  • Warm and outgoing personality.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan and organize events.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent Computer skill and quick to learn new programs.
  • Ability to work well within a compact team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Social Media Savvy
  • Good knowledge of wine and food pairing.Serving It Right Certificate.
  • Food Safe certification.
  • Ability to lift and carry 40 lbs.
  • MUST BE FLEXIBLE with work schedule. Weekends and evenings are required.
