What to expect? (Roles and Responsibilities)

  • Assist Marketing Director with the implementation of the company’s marketing strategy—campaigns, events, digital marketing and public relations—and specific revenue or awareness objectives target
  • Post content to websites, blogs and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and LinkedIn)—ensure alignment with the company vision, brand, and objectives
  • Compose and post online content on the company’s website using Hubspot
  • Use on and off-page Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and keyword marketing
  • Proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Work with the company database system TAM (The Agency Manager) and broker portals to export information

What do you need? (Requirements)

  • Achieve diploma or degree in marketing or communications (NAIT or Grant MacEwan graduates will be given preference)
  • Experience managing or designing a website and blog
  • Basic Tumblr, WordPress, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Illustrator knowledge
  • Produce graphic design artwork to support marketing effort using technology and computer software packages (print or web)
  • Google AdWords Certified or Google Analytics Certified is an asset
  • Marketing, communications, or public relations experience is an asset
