An excellent opportunity to work for an established medical equipment company based in Victoria, BC. We are seeking an individual for a full-time temporary position. This position is available immediately!
The successful candidate will assist a skilled installer in the installations of overhead medical equipment on an active construction site. This includes installation of various mechanical fasteners, steel channels, and miscellaneous labour work.
Key Competencies: working knowledge of various hand and power tools, can quickly adapt to the task at hand, good mechanical aptitude, can work independently or with a team, willingness to learn and good people skills.
Qualifications: preference will be given to applicants with basic construction skills and some building knowledge and able to work occasional weekends. A valid Class 5 drivers license with a clean driving record is an asset.
This is a physically demanding position occasionally working within small spaces.
