Under the direction of the Director of Care, the Resident Care Attendant (RCA) will assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal, physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and recreational needs. You will perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner. The Resident Care Aide must possess knowledge of and practice all relevant policies and procedures, including those of the care unit, fire, health and safety procedures and respond to resident emergencies when required.

You must be a graduate from a recognized Resident Care Attendant (RCA) program and possess recent experience working with geriatrics, long-term care, or home services. Good oral and verbal communication skills are required and capable of meeting the physical and mental requirements of the position.

Amica offers a comfortable, non-institutional work environment and the opportunity to work one-on-one with our residents. This opportunity is for casual RCA’s who have the ability to work evenings, statutory holidays, weekdays and weekends, with the additional possibility of vacation coverage. English fluency is required.
