Amec Foster Wheeler’s Mining business is seeking an Administrative Assistant at our office in Saskatoon, SK.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to members of the Senior Management Team
- Arrange and provide support services for meetings, presentations and special events
- Attend regular department and operations meetings, prepare and distribute meeting minutes
- Provide general administrative duties such as filing, compiling of documents, photocopying, coordinating travel, preparting expense statements, central record keeping and tracking
- Manage information using spreadsheets
- Assist in the maintenance of documents/file systems and SharePoint sites
- Various other duties as assigned
Skills / Qualifications
Role Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ of experience, preferably in a Consulting Engineering environment
- Strong computer skills and experience with Microsoft and other applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint)
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Above average communication skills including proofreading and editorial expertise
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Self-starter, forward and dynamic thinker
- Knowledge of project management and engineering terminology is an asset
