Altima Healthcare is seeking a creative and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist.
The right individual thrives in a fast-paced environment and is knowledgeable in healthcare (medical and dental) recruitment. You will be responsible for full cycle recruitment of various positions across Canada and play a critical role to ensure that we engage, attract and hire the best and the brightest talent.

You are a collaborative strategic thinker with experience in developing and implementing successful recruitment plans and succession plans.
You are an excellent communicator and work closely with hiring managers to maximize the effectiveness of the recruitment process for current and future job openings.
You are a skilled at networking, establishing contacts and head hunting passive candidates.
You gain visibility through creative job postings and clever use of social media to attract and identify the best and to create a talent pool.
You are perceptive in reading resumes and have a knack in reading people and building trust and rapport.
You are passionate about your role as a recuiter, the company and will leave no stone unturned in finding the perfect fit for each role.
You are familiar with applicant tracking systems and are knowledgeable in using them effectively.
An accomplished interviewer you provide hiring managers with suggesting appropriate interview questions based on role and competencies.
You work tirelessly at improving talent acquisition processes and seek to develop recruitment strategy and the talent brand.
You are comfortable in leading multiple projects at the same time.

Here’s What You’ll Need
University degree, and/or completion of a recognized post-secondary Human Resources program OR equivalent experience.
CHRP designation is an asset.
1-2 years of expereince as a recruiter and/or HR experience with a specialization in talent acquisition. Healthcare (medical and dental) recruitment or clinical or administration experience would be considered a definite asset.
Previous sourcing experience including the ability to conduct Boolean searches.
Ability to work with hiring managers to develop situational, behavioural, and technical questions and selection methods.
Ability to function collaboratively within the HR team and with hiring managers (operations team).
Experience working with an ATS and HRIS system would be preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction and a strong focus on achieving results.
Experience with online social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn etc) is preferred.
Experience sourcing candidates through job boards (Monster, Workopolis) is also desired.
Ability to leverage network for sourcing passive candidates is an asset.
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and savvy with internet research.
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Being bilingual is an asset.
