• Altima Healthcare has an excellent opportunity for a skilled Promotions & Project Coordinator. This is a one-year, full-time, entry-level, paid position, covering a maternity leave. It is ideal for an individual currently within, or close to completion of, post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or related disciplines. Previous work experience in a corporate environment (including volunteer work) is advantageous. Please ensure you meet all the requirements listed below prior to applying. Promotions & Project Coordinator – Scope of the position

Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the Promotions & Project Coordinator will assume the role of providing support and assistance in implementing key marketing activities. The individual will also design various print and online media for various purposes such as advertising, sales, patient education and internal communication.
Assist with the preparation, design and dissemination of marketing materials including ads, posters, flyers, emails, promotional products and other internal/external pieces.
Liaise with team members and external suppliers for all orders and deliveries.
Ensure all marketing, communications and promotional pieces adhere to quality and consistency standards set by the Marketing Department.
Keep track of all invoices to ensure timely payments and keep organized files.
Assist with all other marketing, communications and promotional initiatives as assigned.
Promotions & Project Coordinator – Requirements

• Must have knowledge and experience with graphic design and print preparation of digital files, specifically in using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Attach examples of previous graphic design work to your application in order to qualify for an interview. Alternatively, you may include links (URLs) to digital portfolios or online work in your application.*

Advanced computer skills using MS Office Suite, Internet Applications & Social Media.
Strong writing and editing skills for print and web will be required for this position.
Previous corporate experience and the ability to multi-task with a variety of vendors and projects will be an asset.
