A Montreal based financial services firm is currently looking for an Accounting Bookkeeper/administrative manager. Working under the direct supervision of the CEO, the candidate will offer support to the president in completing bookkeeping/administrative tasks such as:

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Full cycle A/R & A/P

* Perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks

* Daily cash applications, accounts payables, weekly check runs

* A/R, account reconciliations, collections etc.

* A/P check runs

* GST, QST, DAS, Corp taxes

* Closing month end

* Organize and schedule appointments

* Coordinating travel arrangements

* Managing emails/mail

* Keep records and organize all files for CEO

* Prepare expense reports

* Provide personal support such as coordinating personal appointments, and errands

* Coordinating any special projects assigned by the CEO

General Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience

* Minimum 2-3 years related in an administrative role

* Ability to communicate with clients in a professional and efficient manner

* Team player, always willing to help out and multi-task

* Strong attention to detail

* Organized with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changes rapidly

* Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize effectively

* Strong ability to work independently

* Proficient knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

* Experience with Sage accounting software an asset

* Excellent communications skills in English and French (verbal and written)

* Able to work autonomously

This is an excellent position for someone with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

This position is open to full time or part time candidates, and will be working at our head office in the Old Montreal.
