LIQUOR STORE MANAGER

Woodstock – Store 13

ANBL is a Crown Corporation of the Province of New Brunswick
with annual sales of $415 million and with a network of 41 retail stores around
the province, 87 licensed agency retailers, and a central
warehouse. While responsibly managing a profitable liquor business
for New B runswick, ANBL’s vision is to be a leading retailer driven by customer

The Position : Reporting
directly to the District Manager, the Liquor Store Manager is responsible for
the operation of a retail liquor outlet that supply beverage alcohol
products to the general public, licensees and agents appointed by the
Corporation.

Creating a Customer Service &
Sales Culture by leading and improving store processes that enhance the
customer experience
Engaging employees by creating a
compelling work environment that fosters pride of ownership
Enforcing internal controls that
support social responsibility
Driving store and employee
performance by achieving results personally and through teams
Setting performance expectations and
coaching employees toward success
Improving profitability by managing
resources wisely
Evaluating, developing and
implementing retail related process improvements
Complying with appropriate laws,
acts, regulations and/or guidelines including Corporation policies and
procedures, relevant portions of the Liquor Control Act, and the New Brunswick
Liquor Corporation Act, Non-Bargaining Personnel By-law, and the Collective
Agreement
Work involves the ability to
establish and maintain effective working relations with fellow employees and
direct contact with the general public while complying with ANBL’s obligations
under the NB Official Languages Act.

The

Requirements:
A post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field
is required i.e.: certificate or degree from an accredited educational
institution, community college or university.

Previous retail management experience.

Written and spoken competence in English is required. Ability to work in both official languages is an asset.

Solid detail orientation, organizational and analytic
skills.

Must have ability to deal
accurately with numerical and alphabetical detail and the ability to adapt
and resolve problems.

Familiarity with computer
systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite

Candidates selected to compete for this position will be
subject to a competency based selection process and will be required to
complete various selection assessments to a standard acceptable to ANBL.

Compensation: Alcool NB Liquor offers a market competitive salary with a comprehensive
benefits package, including medical, dental and a generous pension plan. We provide
a motivating and rewarding work environment with excellent growth
opportunities. Range o f $51,687 – $66,239 annually.
