We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support the Materials and Manufacturing Teams in Edmonton for 6 months.

The successful candidate will act as a first point of contact to the Materials and Manufacturing team located at our Edmonton location. The candidate will be responsible for working as part of the team to deliver support and records management. The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, ensuring all client documentation is professional and precise, records are maintained and accurate as well as knowledge of standard practices and processes. Other duties could include interpreting AITF’s policies and processes, developing templates, providing customer service to clients (internal and external), travel and conference arrangements and providing assistance with reporting requirements.

Requirements
Candidates require a certificate or diploma from a recognized post-secondary administrative program and 2 years related work experience. (Extensive work experience can be substituted for education). The ideal candidate will have experience in an office environment, strong organizational and communication skills as well as strong Microsoft Office skills.

Team work, cooperation, attention to detail, exceptional customer focus, effective interpersonal and communications skills are essential. Additional course work and/or experience in records management is desired. Flexibility of hours is an asset since coordination of demonstrations and workshops may require working hours beyond our normal hours of business.
