Coordinates Planning & Implementing Province Wide Initiatives Coordinates/manages schedules, learning session agendas/materials, implementation of listservs, & assigns presentations to faculty for all AIM learning sessions throughout Alberta Works with coordinators at the local level (e.g. Primary Care/CDM Managers) to ensure all material for learning sessions is received in a timely manner Coordinates face-to-face workshops, webinars, podcasts, etc. Coordinates access to electronic learning supports (via web or learning management system) Coordinates faculty commitments related to learning design and delivery Prepares & submits annual application for Main-Pro M1 accreditation to the Canadian College of Physicians and Surgeons, working with both national and provincial Colleges Submits ethical review applications to the Canadian College of Physicians and Surgeons for each learning session in order to obtain Main-Pro M1 credits for family physicians Program Planning & Reporting Work with a team to plan and launch learning sessions within Alberta Support initiatives to develop & test alternate approaches to deliver learning sessions Coordinates working group activities and is responsible for selected tasks requested by working groups or AIM Steering Committee Prepares semi-annual reports and submits to manager for review before sending to the AIM Steering Committee and PHC leaders (including finance reports) Coordinates monthly report submissions/feedback between teams & AIM faculty Ensures applicable ‘guiding principles’ feedback is incorporated at strategic times throughout the term of the collaborative and sends to faculty for specific feedback. All Non-Union/Exempt positions are being reviewed for possible inclusions in the AUPE General Support Services bargaining unit. If this position is impacted, the incumbent will be notified accordingly.

Required Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in a health discipline, education, social sciences, project management or related field. Ability to confidently and effectively collaborate and consult with a variety of stakeholders. Comfortable developing relationships remotely. Strong written communication skills. Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills. Project management experience. Ability to work productively on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong competence using Microsoft suite of tools (outlook, PowerPoint, word, excel, access, etc.).
