Responsibilities include maintaining standards of the program; ensuring consistency in the delivery of care and accessibility of service; recruiting and selecting staff to meet operational needs; managing staff performance; and participating in quality management initiatives. As a member of the Rural Opioid Dependency Program management team, is accountable for contributing to the development, implementation and evaluation of overall strategic and operational plans to support patient focused care. Identifies challenges and opportunities and provides direction to support the development of innovative and strategic approaches in ways that enable the achievement of operational goals and strategic vision. Through interaction and collaboration with internal and external partners and participants, influences the direction of operations and service delivery. Manages the overall operating budget for the designated service. Plans and determines allocation of resources, authorizes and controls expenditures, and is accountable for managing resources within the assigned portfolio. Promotes an environment that fosters quality improvement and a culture of safety for staff and patients. Commits to continually improving health and safety performance through promotion of culture supporting hazard assessment, risk management, incident identification, reporting and correction, and compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and safe work practices.

Required Qualifications:

Must have Bachelor degree in Nursing and/or completion of one of the following programs: Masters’ Degree in Psychology, Masters’ Degree in Social Work (clinical specialization in Addictions and/or Opioid treatment). Active or eligible for registration with the applicable regulatory College required by the Health Professions Act. Curent Basic Life Support Health Care Provider – Level C (BLS). Require advanced training in Addiction and Mental Health with a minimum of 5 years of diverse experience (inpatient, community, addiction) within the Addiction and Mental Health field and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an out of scope leadership role.

Additional Required Qualifications:

Minimum of ProSci and/or change management certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous adult education,project management and/or social marketing experience. Proficient computer skills, data collection and analysis required. You have demonstrated a progressive history of supporting lead teams through changing program priorities and service delivery initiatives. Must be a good problem solver and able to mentor and coach others through adverse or conflict situations. Embraces life-long learning.
