Reporting to the Department Manager, Guest Services the Night Auditor is highly focused, service oriented individual, responsible for assisting in successful operation of the hotel overnight. In addition to their regular work duties, the Night Auditor must provide consistently high levels of customer service, going above and beyond to provide guests with exceptional experiences in a RITE way while contributing to efficient operation of the Guest Services Department.

Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities: (Abbreviated)

  • Conduct a nightly audit, balancing and consolidating departmental ledger accounts, preparation of various hotel operating reports
  • Check guests in and out of the hotel in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner
  • Taking reservations in accordance with hotel procedure
  • Count and verify cash, shift activity, keys, gift certificates, and wireless internet cards with departing shift
  • Complete nightly rounds of the building, observe and report any security issues

Education, Experience, & Skills: (Abbreviated)

  • Previous experience in hospitality or a comparable service industry an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to modify, and understand financial information, data and basic arithmetic functions
  • Computer skills and knowledge of various programs, Delphi an asset
  • Demonstrated practice in the following competencies:
