Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Business and integration Analyst will be responsible for analysing, recommending, developing, supporting, maintaining and enhancing the software systems and the technology tools required by the team to meet its business objectives and make sure that all the systems have the same data by performing reconciliations, investigations and corrections.
Support to the Senior Business and Integration Analyst activities (documentation, tests, etc).
Help maintaining, develop, implement, support and enhance existing systems, application, interfaces and infrastructure ensuring high levels of availability, stability, performance and currency.
Perform reconciliation, investigation and correction of the data between the systems.
Document the procedures linked to the reconciliation, investigation and correction of the data.
Participate in the development of implementation and testing plans.
Support the administration, configuration, installation and maintenance of any technological tool and other environments, ensuring that all changes are performed with minimal operational impact.
Integration of all the systems and tools as most as possible in an efficient way.
Support the team members to define the objectives, scope, benefits and milestones of tools or projects.
Support the production of reports and metrics as requested from time to time.
Maintain currency in technical and investment industry trends through research/education/self-motivated training and personal development.
Specific product based responsibilities will be assigned based on operational requirements.
Participate to any project as assigned from time to time.
Finance or Computer Science degree or equivalent working experience.
Minimum 3 years experience in a finance environment or a pension fund
Knowledgeable of buy-side investment fund structure and processes
Experienced with investment systems configuration (data feeds, integration, firm structure, account structure, user permissions, legal entities, transaction costs, settlement instructions, …
Proactive customer service focus.
Excellent French and English languages communication skills. (verbal and written)
Ability to work effectively both independently and in team environments.
Ability to prioritize, coordinate and complete tasks to meet deadlines.
Ability to work in partnership with both IT and business.
Resourcefulness, creativity and sound judgment.
The position is based in downtown Montreal
