Job Description Reporting to the Vice-President, Strategy and Organizational Performance, a part of the Human Capital team, the Organizational Performance Specialist, will be responsible for implementing the best practices and initiatives for talent development and assessment contained in the strategic plan. Together with Organizational Strategy and Organizational Performance team, the incumbent will propose, implement and measure solutions that are designed to encourage individual commitment, contribute to an increased level of performance and meet the organization’s business objectives. More specifically, the incumbent will: Support the roll-out and optimization of the succession management program; Carry out a needs analysis, coordinate and evaluate the management skills development programs throughout the organization by implementing all available developmental strategies – training, coaching, e-learning, mentoring, assignments, co-development groups, communities of practice, etc.; Optimize and administer the organization’s performance management program and support managers and employees in applying it; Deploy and improve existing initiatives to encourage recognition on a daily basis in all areas of the organization; Implement an approach that will produce proactive staffing plans tailored to the organization’s situation; Develop proven strategies and introduce various initiatives to foster increased mobilization and engagement on the part of employees and managers; Act as advisor to managers in ensuring that the chosen initiatives, methods and tools foster the attraction, development and retention of talent within the organization; Identify the key skills that are to be developed within the organization and develop skills profiles that will contribute to the full range of talent management processes (acquisition and development of talent, management of individual performances, succession planning, etc.); Plan and coordinate internal communication activities to support the various projects being implemented; Participate in the annual exercise to plan activities and programs of the various sections and prepare budget estimates; Support the HC Generalists in the plants by encouraging the deployment and follow-up of the various initiatives; Remain continually abreast of current best practices and trends in his or her field of activity. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations, Vocational Guidance or Pedagogy; Eight (8) to ten (10) years of relevant experience, including specifically a minimum of seven (7) years in training/ organizational development; Knowledge of the manufacturing sector and more specifically food processing; Bilingualism, French and English, spoken and written; Ability to travel regularly to the organization’s various sites; Experience in implementing or using an integrated performance management system; Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
