Are you a top-notch administrator looking for a new opportunity? The Agropur Milk Plant in Edmonton, Alberta is looking for a Administrative Coordinator (Administrative Assistant) to help lead the Edmonton office. You may have known us as the Lucerne Milk Plant in the past, and now we are part of Agropur Dairy Cooperative, an organization with a rich history throughout Canada. You’ve probably heard of us and seen our products, now you have an opportunity to be a part of making them. Are you wondering if this is the role for you?
Do you like variety in your work?
You might be working on payroll or inventory one minute and then the next, working on an important document for the Manufacturing Director, whom you directly support. You will also be helping the team with things like Health and Safety reporting, problem solving, and coordinating the office activities. This is truly a role for a “jack of all trades”, so if you like a bit of everything, this is the role for you. We can promise you that you definitely won’t be bored!
Do you have an eye for detail and a knack for numbers?
We have a lot of milk come through these doors to make the wonderful products you see on your table every day. We have a lot of paperwork that goes with that milk; this means we need someone who is good at keeping things from “slipping through the cracks”. We also need someone who can create documents that are right the first time. You will ideally bring some solid MS Office skills to the table which will help you with this. Hopefully you have finagled a spreadsheet or two before, because there are a lot of them around here.

Requirements
If the above sounds like you, here are some of the things we need from you:
Post-secondary education in business or administration (if you have relevant experience we will consider this too)
Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Experience with ERP or HRIS software (Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, ADP, etc.)
An entrepreneurial spirit, someone with a proactive approach to work and life
Strong communication and leadership skills
2-3 years’ experience in an office environment
