Job Summary

School Aged Child Care Staff After The Bell Inc. is a licensed child care centre. Staff work together to ensure children feel safe and are a valued member of their community. We do this by building strong relationships with the children, staff, families and community partners.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Plans and leads activities designed for school aged children by ways of art, science, free play, building and creating

• Prepares snacks for the children
• Communicates effectively with children and parents.

• Light house keeping duties such as bathrooms, sweeping, mopping
• Attend monthly staff meetings
• Pick up and drop off children
• Follow the NS Day Care Act and Regulations

Qualifications and Skills

• Entry Level
• Level 1
• Level 2
• Level 3
• Emergency First Aid and CPR
• Child Abuse Registry Check
• Criminal Record Check with vulnerability attached

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $15.00 to $19.00 /hour
