AECOM are currently seeking a Coordinator to support and assist Building and Places (B+P) department in the Richmond Hill office in the administration of routine accounting functions, including, but not limited to: budget tracking, purchasing, records management and data reporting. This person may also be required to provide specialized project support in the form of project identification and recommendation of applicable accounting control measures to maintain compliance.

Minimum Requirements

  • Community College – 2 or 3 year Business Diploma (or equivalent work experience)
  • 1-3 years related experience in finance, accounting, project consulting or strategic project planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills and the ability to interpret project financial data, including project financial statements
  • High proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint; experience involving extensive work with complex spreadsheets
  • Team player with excellent listening skills and diplomacy; willingness to work with multiple different colleagues on a variety of initiatives
  • Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Outstanding oral communication, written and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Consultative, service-oriented mindset and collaborative problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and manage change effectively
