Purpose of Role :
Coordinate and support Local Sourcing and Supplier Production activities for the Canadian Market.

Work closely within Sourcing, Supply and Compliance areas to fulfill operational tasks which support timely planning, analysis and execution of local goods purchase and production with a focus on Speed Lab – Quick Turn, Licensed and Brand Moments.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and analytical support with local/direct sourced product manufacturing and quality assurance to ensure our marketplace meets the defined adidas Group standards.

Facilitate and execute QT/Hot Market/Event production plans and supply needs as allocated by Prod. Coordinator.

Support finalization of QT/chase opportunities – article #’s, buy ready, PIR’s, demand waivers and deliverables/SLA’s to Customer/BDC.

Execute and manage supply purchase orders timely and accurately, adhering to the market purchasing principles & guidelines.

Facilitate process and system improvements to drive efficiencies, and where the possible, cost saving opportunities

Contribute to department KPIs by facilitating key centralized reports; i.e. Direct Ship Report to be used for visibility and assisting the team in optimizing availability and/or further reporting.

Participate in cross-functional sessions with other areas of Supply Chain to align end-to-end processes.

Stay current with operational enhancements in order to properly navigate within an ERP system. Never stop training.

Manage and monitor SCM Local Drop ship QT/Hot Market E2E POM Tracker

Provide operational and administrative support to a variety of key governing Sourcing & Production processes and principles: Blanks forecasting, effective planning for production capacity/space, profitable pricing and service strategies while maintaining all quality standards.

Perform final QA audits at decorators and support in all areas of product compliance at local suppliers.

Coordinator to support departmental responsibility to group Policy and guidelines that include:

SEA – Social and Environmental Affairs

FFC – Fair Factory Clearinghouse; Audit management/regulations, ethical sourcing decisions

SOE – Standards of Engagement; SOP, Compliance and Labor regulations

QC/QA – Quality Control/Quality Assurance; raw materials, finished products, testing, audit inspections

L&P – Labeling and Packaging; Compliance and Regulations management for consumer products

Local travel may be required in order to support and aid with sourcing and production responsibilities of the senior team and/or attendance to local department or supply chain meetings.

Build and foster relationships with key Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure proper information flow

Link into any Supply Chain Group or Supply Planning initiatives, Projects, work-streams as guided by the Sourcing Manager

Local Production supply plan accuracy and timely SLA – speed to market

Support of profitable product margins based on local production costs

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Basic to advanced understanding of sourcing, manufacturing & production supply models, capacity, forecasting and all related manufacturing and compliance terminology

Effective communication, exceptional organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

Highly motivated, organized individual who is a fast learner

Exceptional ability to analyze, reconcile, and interpret data

Creative problem solving skills

Must be able to adhere to deadlines and work under tight deadlines

System knowledge required: SAP, MS Excel

Strong team player with proven ability to work cross functionally to achieve goals and objectives

Proactive, with sense of urgency and ability to prioritize

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
1-3 years Supply Chain or related Operational / Administrative experience

University or Business Degree and/or Community College graduate

or proceed with Standard Application Form.
