Our client, a family owned and operated distribution company, is looking for a new logistics coordinator to join their team. If you love the feeling of a company that makes you feel like you belong, then this is the environment for you!

Under the direction of the Logistics Manager and with safety, efficiency and customer service a priority, the Logistics Clerk is the first point of contact for our internal customers. The import position predominantly handles Logistics status inquiries and ERP invoice audit, validation and submission for approval and processing.

Responsibilities:

-Processes orders, responds to inquiries, and handles customer complaints effectively and accurately
-Coordinates shipping and receiving activities from a distributor standpoint, including transfers between distribution centres
-Process claims to carriers due to damages, shortages and non-conformance to specifications
-Audits invoices from external provider, approves and calls out any outstanding costs;
Document and escalate any customer service issues
-Performs all other activities related to transactional aspects of the work.

Qualifications
Relevant college or university diploma;
A minimum of one year experience

Competencies
Strong problem solving ability;
Proven time management, organization and multi-tasking skills;
Ability to thrive in a team, deadline-driven environment;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Excellent Customer Service skills;
Proficient in MS Office software (Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint).
