We currently seek a: Temporary Tool Crib Attendant in Fort McMurray, AB.
Acuren has an opportunity for a Tool Crib Attendant to support our Fort McMurray office. This is a full-time position working out of the Fort McMurray office and providing support to the various sites throughout the region. The Tool Crib Attendant works as a part of a fast paced, Operations Support Team, responsible for coordinating the requisition, purchase, inventory, tracking and distribution of supplies, materials, equipment and other items for the work performed.
In this position, you will ensure compliance with ISO or company specific quality programs and the appropriate use of procedures; receive and review requisition orders for accuracy and verify that materials, equipment and stock are not available from current inventories; and communicate with sales personnel for price comparisons. You will also contact suppliers to resolve any shortages, missed deliveries and other problems; assist employees in making selections for supplies and equipment; monitor and control inventory levels of materials, equipment and stock; and receive, sort and distribute goods to the appropriate location or stock items in the tool crib. A large part of the Tool Crib Attendant role will be to maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using a manual or a computerized inventory system.
As the successful applicant, you will hold a Grade 12 Diploma and bring a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an You will have the ability to build harmonious working relationships with suppliers, customers and co-workers and the capability of operating a forklift and holding a valid permit. You will be knowledgeable and proficient in computers and Microsoft programs and work well both independently and in a team environment. Any safety training and IATA Transportation of Dangerous Goods certification would be an asset for this role.
