Accounting Clerk
Richmond, BC

Acuren Group Inc. is currently recruiting an Accounting Clerk based in our Richmond office. This is a temporary, full time position with a term from October 2015 to December 2016. Reporting to the Controller, this position will be responsible for providing support to the regional accounting department in an effective and efficient manner. The main focus of this role will involve credit and collections tasks including invoicing, cash applications, accounts payable and receivable functions, and soft calling clients. In addition, this individual may be verifying and reviewing information to support the timely distribution and payment of customer invoices, concluding follow up with outstanding accounts to assist in the collection of receivables, and conducting accounts payable functions, which includes accurately processing invoices and expense claims and balancing reports.

This position requires a high school diploma and a minimum of one year of related experience. A post-secondary diploma in a related field would be preferred. The successful candidate will bring a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, sound problem solving skills, and a solid proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. This role requires the individual to have the ability to build and maintain good relationships with internal and external clients and vendors.
