The role of the service coordinator is to deliver a high level of customer service and manage the efficiency and effectiveness of a team of installers with the goal to maximizing time and optimizing schedules while managing customer expectations

  • Proactively and responsively working with customers to confirm availability and communicate any changes
  • Communicates schedule to installers and ensure they have all information (file) and materials prior to scheduled install
  • Ensures all materials are available and equipment in good working order at least one day prior to appointments
  • Collects applicable forms and ensures safe work practices are followed
  • Ensures time and costs are tracked to the various jobs accurately
  • First point of contact for installers in event of delay and/or situation impacting schedule, escalates accordingly
  • Responds to customer and property manager inquiries for service requests (sealed unit replacements, screen door repairs) including preparing quotations and follow up
  • Handles and manages warranty requests and/or manages repair requests

Critical skills required include:

  • Assessment and Scheduling of Personnel Resources — Ability to motivate, direct and coordinate people identifying the best schedule and resources for the job based on time and work que
  • Monitoring — Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements, suggestions or take corrective action
  • Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Coordination — Adjusting actions in relation to others’ actions and or third party information in a calming and logical manner
  • Speaking and communication — Talking to others to convey information effectively, ensuring understanding and follow up where required

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35,500.00 /year

Required education:

  • High school or equivalent

Required experience:

  • Customer Service: 2 years
  • Construction Industry: 2 years

Required license or certification:

  • Drivers Licenses
