Arthon Industries Ltd. is looking for an Accounts Payable Administrator for their head office in Kelowna, BC. The chosen candidate should have intermediate or higher experience in an accounting or accounts payable role. It is compulsory to maintain a positive attitude with a diverse range of individuals including managers, foremen, mechanics, vendors and head or site office staff. It is mandatory to show discretion and diplomacy, stay organized, be responsive, multi-task, and deal well with change in what can be a fast paced environment. This role reports directly to the Controller.

Skill Set/Experience:
? Intermediate or higher accounting/accounts payable experience

? Accounting-related post-secondary education or equivalent expertise

? Mid-level or higher Microsoft Office Suite knowledge

? Experience with Explorer Contract Manager accounting software a plus

? Typing level (including numeric keying) 50 WPM minimum

? Multi-tasking skills

? Organized and adaptable

? Problem solving skills

? Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

? Capable of handling a large work load

? Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

? Forward thinking

? Ensuring strict confidentiality and privacy of financial records

This position is part time to start, with the potential to move to full time in future.
