About us:

Accentrix Design is an established interior design firm within the Burnaby/Vancouver area. We have been in the industry for 9 years, taking on a variety of projects but ultimately focusing on custom / high end residential new construction homes and renovations. We occasionally take on some commercial, corporate and staging projects.

About you:

We are looking to hire an junior/intermediate interior designer that is capable and comfortable being involved at every stage of the design process, ranging from conceptualization to completion. This person should be passionate about interior design and the creative process behind it. They should be able to multitask between a number of different projects and tasks, be self driven, focus/detail oriented, have excellent communication and organization skills. Strong AutoCad skills are mandatory. This is a part time job with the possibility of full time in the near future for the right candidate. Having experience in residential interior design is mandatory, with a minimum of 1-2 years in the industry.

Duties & Tasks:

• AutoCad drawings
• Space planning, elevations, notations and detailed millwork drawings.
• Producing detailed construction and demolition drawings
• Specifying fixtures and materials within our specification program
• Creating material boards / putting together client presentations
• Organizing and management of material libraries and keeping sample room up to date
• Pick up and delivery of items
• Obtaining pricing and samples from retailers
• Attend client meetings, take notes and effectively communicate ideas

Applicant must be/have:

• Able to work efficiently individually or within a team setting
• Have a diploma or degree from an accredited school
• Must be proficient in CAD, Sketchup, Photoshop, Word and Excel
• Must be able to follow directions effectively and efficiently
• Self motivated / Hard working
• Creative and innovative design ideas, problem solving and strong concept development.
• Applicant must be comfortable working in the office and the possibility of working from home.
• Valid BC drivers license and access to a vehicle

Compensation to be determined on experience and candidate

Part time Job with possibility of full time for the right canditate
