Ablesun Plastics is looking to hire a warehouse person to work in our fast-paced production line, and be trained to become our film extrusion operator. No prior experience is required, training will be provided.

Duties include, but not limited to:
Operate film blowing machine

Pack orders in a timely manner

Loading and unloading products

moving & arranging inventory items

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
Punctual, hardworking, reliable, proactive

Great communication skills – excellent spoken English is required

Well-mannered, and have good attitude to constructive criticism

Quick learner, and attention to detail

Mechanically inclined, and comfortable with basic math

Must be able to work in a team

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly

Access to a reliable source of transportation to get to work

Long-term commitment & warehouse experience will be given priority

After training, the ideal candidate is expected to do the following with minimum supervision:

Start up, set up, operate and shut down a film blowing machine

Understand the mechanics of the resin mixer system

Be able to change film rolls on the reeler

Start up, set up, operate and shut down the bagging machine

Measure and maintain film extrusion size according to order specifications

Troubleshooting of machines

Package finished products according to warehouse standards

Knowledge of the different types of resin used, and its applications in the production line

Safety rules, working practices & procedures

Working Conditions:
Standard warehouse environment

Able to meet the physical demands of the position – repetitive movements including, but not limited to: standing, bending, pushing, pulling, lifting, and reaching

Steel-toed footwear is mandatory

Good personal hygiene is expected

Jewelry is not permitted

Work Schedule: 6am to 3pm, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

(must be available for varying shifts)

Advantages:
Starting wage of $ 12.50 per hour, moving up to $13 after 3 months
