Reporting to the Quality Assurance and Integration Team Leader, you will perform, in collaboration with the quality team, testing for software, components, “API” (Application Programming Interface) and regression of a Web application development platform, in the scope of an interior design project.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop test procedures, scripts, manual and automated
  • Participate in design review and requirements
  • Execute a variety of tests (manual and automated) and report their results
  • Evaluate time and effort to perform test as well as recommend improvements for the validation strategy process
  • Follow up and update errors & defects
  • Maintain Automated testing
  • Contribute to the integration of the software testing methods to the software development process
  • Follow validation and development best practices as well as processes currently in place
  • Perform task within the established time frame

Skills and Experience

  • College or university degree in computer science or equivalent;
  • Experience in designing automated testing for Web applications;
  • Experience with Selenium, WebDriver, Jasmine, SoapUI, JMeter and NodeJS
  • Experience with operating systems : Windows, Mac OS et IOS and Android;
  • Experience in programming and scripting in a validation environment;
  • Experience with SQL database;
  • Knowledge of Java and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of functional and Unitarian testing;
  • Knowledge of load, performance, stress and security tests (great assets);
  • Positive attitude, proactive, passionate about new technologies;
  • Analytical thinking, autonomous, customer focus, and capacity to work well in a team (Agile environment (SCRUM));
  • Methodical, detail oriented as well as very good organisation skills;
  • Great capacity to resolve complex problems
  • Bilingual spoken and written (essential)
