inStream Solutions is an early stage wealth management software platform that is focused on the US RIA market. With a sales team resident in the USA, the remainder of operations are centred in Toronto where the company is a proud member of the emergent fin tech ecosystem.

Job Description
inStream Wealth is seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, outgoing, and diligent Junior Associate/Analyst to join our growing team. As with any early stage company, the role will have a myriad of functions stretching across various aspects of the organisation. Moreover, the quality and skills present within a successful applicant will also influence responsibilities.
The role will consist of the following tasks:

• Operationalise strategy by working with a product manager to define requirements for new features and enhancements
• Bridge the gap between business and technology by translating requirements into use cases and test cases to be applied by software developers
• Strong client relationship skills to help trouble shoot challenges experienced by investment advisors using the application
• Sound accounting and finance skills to break down the calculations of a cash flow, identify application of taxes and advisor fees, and evaluate portfolio returns
• Support new rollouts and releases by validating the platform at all levels of the software deployment cycle and ensure the application is behaving as anticipated
• Conduct market surveys, evaluate competitive positioning, and recommend future strategic opportunities
• Document processes and practices across the organisation

Qualifications
The following qualifications and skills are desired:

• Canadian Securities Course, Series 6, Series 7, CFP, CFA
• Interest and solid working knowledge of US securities industry
• Ability to write SQL queries to support reporting and analytical analysis
• Familiarity and comfort with technology and software applications
• Natural leader and team player who places the success of the organisation ahead of personal gain
• Willingness to embrace the entrepreneurial spirit and learn new models of operation
• Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and overcome ambiguity or uncertainty
